About the application:

AdHear is an innovative approach which aims to assist hearing aid players to have better outcomes and increase usage of hearing aids. It provides informational counseling on proper expectations and benefits of hearing aids, usage and care of hearing aids, primary troubleshooting, various communication tactics, and testimonials from another hearing aid players, and everyday monitoring of hearing experience. AdHear was developed by a group of audiologists, audiometrist and otolaryngologist. It was validated and proven that the use of AdHear phone application can be utilized as a learning object to assist increase competency and hearing aid management skills among hearing aid players. The audiologist/audiometrist/hearing aid provider may use the AdHear phone application as an intervention not as an alternative rather, an adjunct to traditional verbal counseling after fitting hearing aid/s to their patients.
