Does your kid wish a cell smartphone? But you are worried about people calling them harassing them, robo calls and even predators? Now with Approtect you can set up your contacts list with the smartphone numbers of the people who you let to call your kid. If the number is not on the contacts list then the call is dropped. You will still be able to see the smartphone numbers of people calling your kid but the smartphone will never ring or engage if answered. Approtect also will let your kid to mute the smartphone and texting for a period of time without having to remember to turn it back on. Go see the film mute the smartphone for 2 hours when the film is over you don't have to remember to turn the smartphone and texting back on the timer will do it for you. So as a parent you don't have to hear the i forgot to turn off the airplane mode off when the film was over excuse. Future updates will contain texting blocking, just like smartphone blocking, but for your texts, and another methods to assist you only keep calls/texts from people you wish to, it is your smartphone don't allow the robocalls and sales people eat up your minutes. Privacy is a large problem with Approtect we firmly trust in individuals right to privacy, so that is why we only access the smartphone numbers listed in your contacts. We don't download, save, move or read your contacts list. The tool accesses the contact list smartphone numbers only and if there is a match then the call gets through. Once the tool reads the numbers from the contact list the number is dropped and is not used once more until a fresh call is received.
