About the application:

Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium's Beach Conditions Reporting System (BCRS) is an application for the public to view beach conditions reports submitted by trained volunteer Beach Ambassadors. The BCRS provides true and near-time data from participating Florida beaches including parameters like flag color, water temperature, surf conditions, crowds, respiratory irritation, dead fish, beach amenities and a lot of more! Players can also contribute reports of their own observations through the Community Science Portal on the BCRS. We aim to engage community members in scientific observation and aid in making informed decisions that can both protect public health and improve beach experiences. Satisfied beach going!
