About the application:

BQScore19 is an apk suggested for 7" or larger screens for the UPCI Bible Quizzing Tool to assist individuals hold score during a quiz. The scriptures included are for the 2019 quiz season covering chosen verses from Bible Doctrine. This apk is based on the scorekeeping tool for computers, and a working knowledge of that tool is highly suggested. Also, understanding of the guidelines and procedures of UPCI Bible Quizzing is assumed. Scorekeeping with the apk can handle everything that can happen in a quiz (timeouts, contests, fouls, overtime, etc). Calculations are automatic, eliminating virtually all calculation errors during score keeping. The difference between scores and the remaining points in the quiz are clearly displayed on the scoresheet. When a quizzer quizzes or errors out or are about to quiz or error out, his or her summary box at the bottom changes color to alert individuals to these happenings. Also, coaching tips are provided throughout the quiz, giving status updates and letting individuals know the quiz lock status (the moment at which a squad has accrued enough points that the another squad cannot overcome the point difference to win). In addition to keeping score, this apk also allows individuals to lookup verses, words, and phrases so that as a question is being read an individual can quickly display the quiz material relevant to that question. When a quiz is over the winning squad score is highlighted in green, highest scoring individual scores are highlighted in blue, and second highest individual scores are highlighted in red. Scoresheets are automatically saved for future reference, but may be permanently deleted if desired.
