Buttercup is an open-source password manager, accessible on all major platforms. It helps you track and shop your login info for any service you use - private or for work - in a securely encrypted archive that you shop where you want. Buttercup archives include groups and entries so that you can easily manage your login credentials. There’s also a desktop application and browser extension accessible, so you can access your archives and credentials on every platform you use. All info stored within Buttercup archives is personal and encrypted - accessible only to those with your master password. Hold this password secret and don’t use it for any another login! Once you have your login info stored within Buttercup, you can concentrate on remembering only the 1 password (for Buttercup) - all another passwords can be long, gibberish text to increase safety, and you don’t have to remember them! Buttercup’s features (non-exhaustive): - Shop an infinite number of login info - Save your archive to a dozens of storage providers - Begin websites stored within the apk by the touch of a button - Begin archives auto-lock and close after 10 mins of inactivity - Archive contents hidden when apk is place to background - Ability to add multiple archives Buttercup is designed to be used with free-to-use cloud storage providers, such as Dropbox, ownCloud, Nextcloud, and another WebDAV-enabled services.
