About the application:

Old time Classic The mini game is a 2D side-scrolling arcade mini game in which the user controls either Giana. Each level includes a number of dream crystals, which, when collected, give points to create the game's high score. An additional life can be gained by collecting 100 dream crystals. Additional lives can also be found in the form of hidden "Lollipop" items. Enemies can be defeated by jumping on them or shooting them after obtaining the relevant power-ups. The opponents contain owls, rolling eyeballs, flesh-eating fish and deadly insects. The "fire wheel" transforms Giana into a punk with the ability to crush rocks by jumping and hitting them from below. The "lightning bolt" awards Giana "dream bubbles", a single projectile shot. "Double lightning" gives her the ability to shoot recoiling projectiles. "Strawberries" give her the ability to shoot homing projectiles. There is one defensive item in the mini game, the "water drop", which protects Giana versus fire. A number of unique stuff can also be triggered that affect the entire screen, such as the "clock", which freezes all opponents on-screen, and the "magic bombs", which slay all opponents. These stuff are found in the item blocks scattered around the stages. Some deep mines are flooded, forcing users to hover safely above the water. In later levels, creatures strike out from below the water. Some mine sections are illuminated by lanterns. If the lantern is somehow destroyed, the layout of that section becomes invisible. Exploding dynamite lights up the mine for a brief time. For everyone who likes or used to play the C64 / ZX Spectrum / Atari / Apple II / MSX / BBC Micro / Acorn Electron games. This mini game brings back old times, is completely off-line playable and is lot's of fun. Enjoy it as much as we do!
