  Elemental226: I played Cardinal Quest 1 back in the day, and was instantly hooked. This isn't a rogue-like-like. It's a real rogue-like. I love the D&D style movement and combat, where time freezes until you do something, giving you good control over the flow of combat. But Cardinal Quest 1 ran out of novelty somewhat quickly, which is why the sequel is so good. The same plus more, and it's all refined to a tee. My only problem is that the controls can be a tiny wonky at times, but that's just about it.

  Joshua Wright: A few years ago, I first played Cardinal Quest on Newgrounds, and it, at once, became one of my favorite mini games on that website. CQ2 surpasses its predecessor in every method. CQ2 presents a easy, clean dungeon-crawling experience that focuses on dungeon-crawling, not inventory management.

  Nokiasam Sungappel: Playing this mini game for months... I think Paladin and archer needs a major changes. They are very underpowered on high turret levels. For archer, you need a few necessary statistics and talents to ride the next tiers. The dog also dies 24/7 on late turret levels. For paladin, the mania and another faith skills are always resisted on late turret levels... making this class a complete treasure at first, trash later on. It also needs high stealth and invi skill as an escape mechanism. Can't play as tank on later floors.
