About the application:

An simple method to view the glucose levels and insulin pump info of a person with diabetes right on your smartphone. When a family member or a mate has diabetes, you wish to be supportive and stay close. You might wish to know if their glucose levels go too high or too low, be able to quickly and easily access their insulin pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system info. With the CareLink™ Connect apk, now you can remotely see their glucose levels and insulin pump info wherever you are, so you can know how they are doing. The CareLink™ Connect apk helps you quickly accomplish these tasks: Allow you securely view glucose levels, graphs, and trends Sends you high or low glucose levels notifications, so you can be informed and supportive Shows you the status of the insulin pump system, for greater peace of mind. To remotely view pump system info, family members or mates need to install the CareLink™ Connect apk on their phone. Also, the person with diabetes needs a MiniMed™ 700-series insulin pump and to download the MiniMed™ Mobile apk, which then could be connected online to the CareLink™ tool. To learn more about the CareLink™ Connect apk, visit www.medtronicdiabetes.com IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to keep real-time updates, the apk needs to continuously keep data from the CareLink™ servers, and the insulin pump system needs to sync with the CareLink™ servers through the MiniMed™ Mobile apk. The CareLink™ Connect apk only works with the MiniMed™ 770G and MiniMed™ 780G insulin pump systems; it currently does not help another standalone CGM systems, MiniMed™ or Paradigm™ insulin pumps. The CareLink™ Connect apk is intended to provide a secondary display of insulin pump and CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) system data on a supported mobile device. CareLink™ Connect apk is not intended to replace the real-time display of insulin pump or CGM data on the basic display device. All therapy decisions could be based on the basic display device. CareLink™ Connect apk is not intended to analyze or modify the insulin pump and CGM data that it receives. Nor is it intended to control any function of the insulin pump or CGM system to which it is connected. CareLink™ Connect apk is not intended to keep info directly from the insulin pump or CGM system.
