  A Google user: Upgraded after I got three of my mates to play versus me on the gratis ver. Thought I would have wanted a single user AI mode but I don't miss it at all. I've found myself starting some mini games to strangers, which are ranked to my level. I don't have a lot of needs and rather have a lightweight apk with easy graphics, than an apk that drains the battery and feels slow. The extras: rewinding the mini game for evaluation is very useful and I found myself using the "plan moves" feature on some occasions as well.

  Stephen Blythe: This is a good method to play chess. I play ranked mini games versus random people from around the globe and work my method up the rankings, and also play unranked mini games versus a group of mates for bragging rights! :-) Only trouble is, I can end up playing about 5 mini games at once, which gets confusing - but Chess by Post has the reply to that too - you can create notes on each mini game, rewind through the mini game to see the latest few moves to refresh your memory (or even all the method back to the beginning if you like!) and as if that wasn't enough, you can also use "Plan Moves" to freely take moves for both sides to test out your tactics for the rest of the mini game. This apk has got me back into playing chess, which I haven't seriously done for decades. Also, the developer, Jeff, responded very quickly (emailed response within 45 mins) when I had an problem. Perfect! The advertisements in the gratis ver aren't intrusive, so I should easily have place up with them, but this is an apk which was worth paying for, so I did.

  Paul Manzi: Best correspondence chess apk out there. Gratis one is awesome but upgraded solely to help developer. Apk is good - ranked mini games, friendlies, create and save notes, chat if you wish to. Don't receive notifications on smartphone (nexus 7) it this is minor problem as also on smartphone. Would be awesome if smartphone ver should do landscape with notes editable next to board.

  Armando Valdez: This apk is really cool. You can play an infinite amount of mini games at the same time and send messages back and forth with any users. Plus you have plenty of time to answer if you have a busy schedule. I want the apk should hold stored ALL of the mini games we've played. I don't see my older mini games. I have some good mini games I've lost. But if I have to select between a 4 or 5 rating, I'd round it off to 5. Good apk overall.
