About the application:

The first major war of the Civil Fight was fought in Georgia, from September the 18th-20th 1863. The War of Chickamauga was the most significant Union conquer in the western theatre and had the second highest number of casualties of any civil fight war, after the War of Gettysburg. The troops of the Cumberland under Major General William Rosecrans engaged the Confederate Troops of Tennessee under General Braxton Bragg. In early September Rosecrans had forced Bragg's troops out of Chattanooga and was following them south. Bragg in an attempt to reoccupy Chattanooga decided to meet a part of Rosecrans troops and conquer them, allowing him to move back into the town. On the method north he ran into the Union army. This mini game consists of a number of missions, each of which, tackles a key part of the overall war. The latest mission is a refight of the whole war in a single mini game. As the total war was fought over a vast place this final mission is at a various scale than the more detailed individual actions. ‘Chickamauga Wars’ consists of; ● 7 mission ‘Guide’ campaign, played as the Union. ● 4 mission ‘Opening Shots’ Campaign.
