About the application:

Chunk longer words into syllables, making them easier to read and spell. Play the Gorilla Challenge! • Learn six syllable types • Read two and three syllable words • 9 levels of crazy fun • Learn tactics that explain the guidelines of English • Records progress • Up to 5 players Enter the Chimp Fu turret and start your training. Each level begins with a lesson that explains a various kind of syllable. After your training, practice chopping up giant hotdogs and vegetables to split words into their syllable chunks. At the end of the level, have fun playing the Gorilla Challenge to earn your headband and try your Chimp Fu skills. As you climb the turret levels, the words become tougher but you will learn to recognise every syllable kind, improving reading ability. Receive a giant boost to reading confidence as you advance from easy cvc-cvc words to being able to read long multi-syllable words. Children benefit from learning to recognise and split syllables from 6+ years.
