Conquest of Elysium 3 (CoE3) is a streamlined turn based fantasy strategy mini game with a touch of rogue-like and the complex undertones of the Dominions series that is also developed by Illwinter Game Design. While CoE3 appears to be a easy mini game with limited options at first glance, delving further into the mini game reveals a mini game of complex decision making and dangerous endeavors. The main focus in CoE3 is that each race plays differently. We're not talking about a special building and special unit, we're talking about completely differently, with various mechanics and different goals. Perhaps you're playing a druid, focused on amassing a vast forest and jungle empire from which to harvest ingredients to summon creatures of the woods with no practical need to defeat mines, or perhaps a dwarf, who's only concern are mines and produce troops at a set rate every turn and focus almost entirely on upgrading those units to survive as long as possible, since they are so difficult to replace. With 18 various factions that alone is enough to hold your play dynamic as you vie for control of the map to conquer Elysium. That isn't where it ends, however, there are 6 scenarios in which your mini game takes put that will assist randomize the map. These scenarios range from a the early days of an agrarian globe to a giant gleaming capital, which you can defeat, that spawns patrols of human guards, to a fallen empire filled with the living dead and scarred by battlefields and tombs. There's also random happenings to contend with, from merchants to pillage to the very gates of the underworld opening portals to your realm, your hands will be full before you even make contact with the enemy. In each mini game the objective is to conquer your opponents by relying on the strengths of your selected race. Combat in CoE3 is automatic to keep things streamlined, but that doesn't create it non-strategic. Each unit has a desired "place" it wants to be in the battlefield. Archers want to be in the rear, massive infantry wish to be in front. As you can imagine, putting together an troops that has enough strength to protect the strong archers and spell casters in the rear is vital. It goes beyond that though, as you must determine your enemy's strengths and hopefully be able to counter their tactic. An troops of a mere 10 trolls is extremely risky, perhaps able to bring down a dragon, but they can only slay 10 monsters at once. An troops of 50 little units will create short work of your trolls. However, an troops with a wizard able to cast high level spell may completely destroy all 50 small units in one shot but would be unable to hurt 10 trolls. Determining the strength and composition of an opponent troops is a vital skill, and since hitting in combat, hurt, and even the very spells that will be cast are randomized based on the abilities of each unit, every battle invites potential disaster and a change of plans. Features: * Killers that create an assassination attack before combat starts. * Catapults, Hill Giants and Rocs that can throw or drop boulders during sieges. * Immortal Liches and Vampires. * Regenerating trolls rise from the dead if they haven't been killed too badly or their side lost. * Really big worms that can swallow smaller opponents whole. Swallowed troops take a few points of hurt from digestion each round until they are freed. * Shape changers that looks like something else when seen by the opponents. * And a lot of a lot of more creatures and abilites.... * Random maps * Random happenings, awesome and awful * 18 various classes * Spell system with 42 magic paths * Hotseat video test (multiple users on the same smartphone) * Squad play, you can be 2 users versus the AI for example. * Created for tablets. A screen size of at least a 7 inch is recommended Important: While it is possible to play this mini game on a standard smartphone, you really need a really big screen to be able to play it comfortably. A 7 inch screen or larger is suggested.

Jordan Edwards: However I understand that coe 4 came out and I was wondering if it will be coming to android device at any point of time

Derek Murphree: While I do search the price mark rather expensive, CoE delivers in content and tactic. Plays a lot like Civ mini games with a board mini game style twist. This is my first experience playing Illwinter mini games and I'm thoroughly impressed with the depth here. I've suggested this to mates who aren't impressed with the price mark even after I explain how fun it is. That's my only complaint.

A Google user: It's... It's unbelievable! It's like Risk and Civilization had a child who DMs an AD&D campaign based on early 20th century pulp fiction. If the phrase "hobbits and Aztecs battling with Roman legions allied with Lovecraftian terrors skirmishing with undead hordes clashing with a menagerie of giant bears and ants, while a warlock watches from a volcano" sounds appealing to you: buy this! Well worth the price! It makes the another "tactic" mini games on here look like jokes and children's toys. Even the customer service was prompt and friendly. Seriously guys, this mini game has blown my mind.

Vincent Gau: Think Civ. Now imagine if you had magic instead of technology. Now imagine if a lot of the countries had specific specialized magics. That's what this mini game is like. It takes a tiny for getting used to, but once you do, you'll be upping the difficulty constantly trying to create the mini game just a BIT more difficult to exploit. I think I've got like 10+ hours playing this mini game so far. And it's only been out for 3 days.

Eugene Merlinsky: I have been playing it on PC for a while and now enjoying on android device. It is a really deep and smart tactic mini game. Real gem for those who understand that enjoyable video test doesn't depend on high end graphics. Playing various heroes gives you completely various experience. Test it and you won't regret.

Ben Dorsch: This is one of these very rare but good tactic mini games on Android device. I don't have the pc ver so I don't feel anything is missing regarding controls. Any possibility CoE 4 is coming to Android device too?

Kevin Loboe: This is not as awesome as the full on dominions, but for android device this was an instant buy. Plays little but well on galaxy s3.

Vangelis Mamais: The mini game works good, the price compaired to the pc ver is good, no complaints. The mini game works very well on a smartphone with only little complaint the lack of documentation for the controls. Let's hope we see no4 on mobile also!

Jonathan W: Well obviously if you like these types of mini games, eye candy is not the most necessary factor, but the graphics have their own charm about them. The ambient soundtrack helps a lot, A lot of android device tactic mini games don't have sound at all, I hate that! The price is a tiny steep perhaps for an apk, but you are getting a full PC ported title with no iaps, or gimmicks. $10-$20 is normal for PC mini games. I would rather pay for everything upfront instead of micro transactions. Plus their an indie developer too.

A Google user: Just the right amount of depth, not too much micromanagement. The control scheme ports over well; I was worried when I read a review saying that you couldn't see unit info and such, but it seems to have been mistaken. Maybe the author didn't test to press and keep where he would have right-clicked on PC? I encountered a few ui bugs; sometimes switching to the home screen and back would fix it, but another times I had to close the apk without a possibility to save first. Thankfully, the mini game autosaves frequently.

J. Martin: Shockingly deep tactic by old school masters Illwinter. Doesn't receive any better. No compromises for mobile on this port!

sturm055: Having played CoE on PC I knew what to expect. The mobile ver contains some functions to create the switch to Droid smooth. The mini game, as stated, is beautiful little on a standard smartphone. I've also had an problem with zooming in the mini game causing the main menus to be zoomed and unusable, but I anticipate such problems will be ironed out in further versions. Cheers, Illwinter.

Sam Cumming: Deep mechanics and hours of strategic fun. Dont allow the surface fool you, the coding behind this mini game isnt simple, nor is it a little task to make something like this in a little squad. Worth your time, worth your cash. Buy it now. And receive Dominions 4 while you're at it!

Nathan Bradshaw: I'm very much enjoying this mini game. As noted in the description a little screen isn't ideal, but I'm not having any problems on my M8. Definitely suggested!

Olivier Zanchetta: This mini game is chock full of content with a globe rich with lore. OK the graphics aren't up there, but bearing in mind that most of the troops have been hand drawn, the hundreds of troops, a procedural globe, the whole thing comes out as rather quaint. Here my mate, is the potential for hours of Fun. I strongly suggest to watch the let's play video, otherwise you will be out of your depth, due to the game's adult nature. Caution, as stated by developers, tablets suggested, is fine with Phablets.

Fariz Ikhwantri: High replayability despite it's easy grahpics also works best, some guide for touch control maybe required, instead some wall of text. Hopefully Conquest of Elysium 4 got ported to Android device too

Eric Fox: This is a good mini game for any portable device in my opinion. It's just the right amount of depth as well as pace. The graphics might fool you at first but trust me they're truly brilliant considering everything is lovingly hand drawn and fit the scheme of the mini game perfectly. I've been playing dominions 4 a lot and this is a nice method to satisfy that urge to defeat and vanquish when you're not near a computer. Good bite sized 4X absolutely worth every penny.

Cheezers Cameback: After purchasing this mini game I allow it gather digital dust without much of a true play through. I recently decided to venture further and give it a solid possibility. This mini game is perfection and I'm addicted. Illwinter now has other loyal fan and I'm looking forward to future releases. From what I hear they are far and between sadly :( Do yourself a favor and receive this mini game!
