About the application:

Copenhagen Paediatric Emergency (CoPE) Apk is developed with the intent of preparing the clinician in the management of acute life threatening conditions in the paediatric patient population. By simply dialing up a weight and age, the corresponding desired tutorial sheet is displayed by tapping ”OK”. CoPE Apk consists of 31 tutorial sheets, corresponding to one tutorial sheet per kilogram bodyweight, ranging from newborn (3 kg) until 10 years of age (33 kg). Information on normal physiological values, suggested equipment used during initial A-B-C stabilization, suggested drugs and doses and fluid boli are provided. Newborn Life Help and Paediatric Advanced Life Help rules from European Resuscitation Council are accessible for quick reference. CoPE is developed by senior consultant paediatric anaesthesiologist Morten Bøttger and senior consultant anaesthesiologist Michael Friis Tvede, Department of Anaesthesia, Centre of Head and Orthopaedics, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark. CoPE is an international (English) and updated ver of the Danish apk Akut Barn, generously supported by The TrygFonden Foundation and originally launched in 2012.
