About the application:

Elafonisi-Sougia topoguide is a digital field tutorial for hiking and exploring the special nature of the most wild and unspoiled part of Crete, the Elafonisi, Paaleochora and Sougia place. The apk offers routes, descriptions and images for 24 hiking trails, including 6 coastal section of E4 Trail, like the popular coastal section of E4 Trail from Sougia to Agia Roumeli. The application offers detailed offline maps and an extensive introduction on the geography and the history of the place, as well as a comprehensive presentation of the special landscape, the rare fauna and the protected mountain flora. The apk offers also a useful list of POIs with a comprehensive find engine. The trails list contains simple walks and moderate hiking trails, of a total length of 160 km. In the field, the apk identifies the nearest journey, tutorials you to it and then along it by displaying messages and warnings on every junction or another necessary place. On each Point of Interest, images and texts are displayed on the map. If the hiker gets off-trail, the apk indicates the shorter method to receive back safely. The cartographic company AnaDigit, creator of the application, has issued previously detailed hiking maps at a scale of 1: 25,000 for Crete, as well as hundreds another hiking maps for Greece (eg. maps of Mt. Olympus, Zagori, Sifnos, Naxos and another Aegean islands). To build the application and ensuring data accuracy, all paths of the apk place have been revised during early 2018.
