Defend the Crown is the pilot mini game for an upcoming series of educational mini games focused on cybersecurity. Develop and apply a primary understanding of cyber attack and defense tactics over 3 stages and 18 levels that challenge your wits. Protect your castle from invading ninjas by placing defenses at strategic places to combat attacks and protect your resources. Test to survive three key stages of cybersecurity attacks: STAND STRONG AGAINST INFILTRATION Build up your tower’s defenses and learn how to defend versus growing waves of crafty cyber ninjas. PUSH BACK PERSISTENT ATTACKS Carefully position your defenses, layering them to prevent your opponents from advancing and stealing all of your assets. AVOID ESCALATION Stop damaging cyber attacks from breaching the most safe parts of the castle where you hide your precious secrets. Expand your cybersecurity education by using the Almanac as a tutorial for how to effectively conquer the ninjas. Learn about ninja strengths and how to combat them by targeting their weaknesses. Layer your defenses by matching the most effective defender accessible versus the nefarious strategies of each cyber attacker. Select your defenders and manage resources carefully. Your castle depends on allowing trade to flourish through shop stalls and arriving boats. Be attentive as these resources can be exploited by attackers and your wealth can dry up quick. Quick-witted and strategic defenses are the key to securing resources that let your kingdom to prosper. Just like defending your castle, cybersecurity requires a layered defense approach to protect your system from an outside threat. Multifactor authentication works as a powerful defense versus brute force attacks, while player training is a better program to conquer phishing attacks.
