About the application:

FillR is a gamified mobile happening application that utilizes real-time geo tracking, fast response codes, gyroscope and API integrations. It’s an application that enable organizers to incorporate event-based mini games into the happening they made. In the application, players can make happenings or join happenings. After joining an happening, players are prompted to create a crew with another attendees to participate in event-based mini games and achieve mission objectives. While those who made an happening, organizers are redirected to a site where they can choose the mini game suited for the type of happening and then, organizers are prompted to begin or download the application. The application’s sole purpose is to enhance the happening experience by creating consistent momentum from the begin and end of the happening using event-based mini games. This study aims to develop an happening application that integrates mini mini games that uses various technologies that enhances happening experience. This research will cover the varying technologies employed in the development such as geo-tracking, gyroscope, and APIs. To execute the source codes, Android device Studio and Visual Studio Code were used. These IDE’s utilizes programming languages such as Java, Kotlin and PHP which are the languages used by the researchers.
