  Steve Powers: Shot off a 15 mortar battery without a hiccup. I set up a Rammstein song and used the device/app to detonate accordingly. I was really impressed that the device compensated for the fuses burn time and it launched on queue. 5 out of 5 stars.

Saved it and shot it the next day. The only thing that would create it better is adding more of Winco's products...

  Tim F: I used this system for my present this year. I think this is a nice product especially for casual backyard pyro. The Pros: The scripting tool that comes with the apk seemed very simple to insert my cues once I created my MP3 file with the 3 songs I wanted in my present. I fired the present from an Android device smartphone but had also set it up on my smartphone. I was scared I'd receive a call and the present might stop so that's why I used the smartphone. Hook up was simple with the igniters that were provided. All cues fired, so my experience was that it was reliable. The idea is security, so I loved having the 15 second timer to receive away from the firing device. Reusable igniters. The cons: I had two troops and wanted to use them both but only used 1. For example wanted to do Mod 1 Cue1 and Mod 2 Cue 1 and fire them at the same time within 1 script. I fire usually on 2 fronts sometimes 3. Currently it won't allow me fire 2 igniters at the same time they have to be at least 2 seconds apart. From a business stand point you will not only sell more product but also more Firefly troops. Either let for at least 2-4 igniters to fire at the same time or let 2 troops to fire within the same scripted present. I said reliablity was awesome but my sound system was further than 50 feet away and I didn't wish to take the possibility of Bluetooth disconnecting from the firing system, so I counted down the timer and cued other person to begin the MP3 file on other device for our sound system. If there's anyway of improving that it would be nice. A variable receive away timer would be a nice make batter. It would be nice to offer a few more longer igniters like 30-50 feet in length. It would also be nice to have the capability to fire e-match. In summary I had a awesome experience with the Firefly. It hit the cues I wanted in the present beautiful close. For specialists your not going to receive that .10 of a second exact ignition hit with this system but it's definitely a large make batter for 4th of July pyros that don't do this all year round. From a consumer stand point I thought you nailed the packaging of this product, I felt like I was opening a fresh iPhone. The Firefly is secure and easy to use.

  Heather McNay: Bought it a day before July 4th and we were able to easily set up a present and have it ready for the present. Apk is simple to use. Bluetooth would only work if you were 15-20 feet away. We should download it on all our devices except for a HD Fire 8.

  Chris Fritsche: Love the technology in this device, since it's only 15 ques I did a beginning present for my 4th shoot with the FireFly. It worked good and the song and shots were sync'd good simple math to do this. I did a second present with the device and did have a few issues but some was my fault, I could of cleaned the connectors from the first shoot and changed the batteries. Use the awesome batteries and not cheap ones, the cheap ones don't maintain as well as the higher priced ones. One of my long leads did break after the second shoot, the coil fried,but I saw on line you can buy replacements now at a cheap price. I want the Bluetooth was a bit stronger so I should stand back some but anyway you look at it i was not hand lighting at least, would really like to have the ability to have more than one device per phone/tablet so I should make larger shows. I would also like to have the ability to input various brands of fireworks with fuse times and shop them in a database like the winco products. Overall, I love the product, few more tweaks here and there but still had good success.

  Nathan Christie: 2017: Good when it works but needs polishing. I stayed within 15 feet of the control unit, had new batteries in the unit but still it would lose connection so I had to light the latest quarter of my present by hand. For the most part the unit and igniters are high quality just be prepared to step in if the unit disconnects. It would be nice to be able to "name" the cues manually, I build my own racks. Maybe add the ability to link two or more cues for finales so you can just swipe once to set off two cues. UPDATE: 2018 The unit would not connect to my Note 8 so I dug my old iPad out and only installed the Firefly apk on it. I had 12 cues set up and the firefly unit disconnected 6 times until I got fed up and just lit them by hand. Please guys create this stable so I can count on it. The unit is an investment and I bought 15 more long cues for the happening. I have some cash into the unit so I dont wish to just throw it away.

  Austin Luck: The Bluetooth range is about 20 feet tops, no matter what device I use to connect with. So unless you wish to stay within an unsafe distance to manually begin each firework, you will have to make a present to upload to the firefly. The present creation process is tedious and has a lot of limitations. You can ONLY make a present if you upload a song and you can only add one song per present. You can only set cues to fireworks during the song. The apk allows you to find a database for fireworks and how long they latest, but the timing doesn't transfer into the cues in a present. You still have to drag and drop the cues and manually add up firing times and determine where one ends and when to fire the next. There is no simple method to have the list fire one after other.

  K P: Says in the manual that firefly only works with up to bluetooth v4. Newer phones dont work with this and by fresh I mean galaxy s8 and iphone7 and up. I had an old ipad lying around and it worked ok. Just sayin, research before you buy.

  Jerry Van Wagenen: Good apk, good product, but awful permissions and privacy policies. It is a easy Bluetooth firing module, it could not require signing up for an acc, giving them your name, e-mail, birthdate, GPS precise place access, and so on. Literally none of those are important to send a easy "light fuse 6" command to the box. And the apk does not work if I manually revoke permissions. Unacceptable in today's climate of endess data breaches of peoples' private info. Would give 5 stars if not for these problems. Edit: Sincerely appreciate the answer. I think all that info is overkill just to attempt to stop someone under 18 from using it, which it wouldn't do anyway. Ample warnings on first begin would suffice.

  A Google user: I cannot understand why this is not compatible with my smartphone. Very disappointed as it could state that on the box or marketing before people buy this. I think you need to pay some programmers that are in the 2000's (allow alone 2019). It doesn't work with my Android device, and apparantly a lot of another phones on the shop???? What????? Really disappointing. Plus there are so a lot of reviews about it glitching and not working, I am going to have to have a back up plan for this weekend because i am worried it won't work. Plus it looks like I will have to be within 20' of it against the 45' that it says it works on. (I will write a various review this weekend if it works from further distance). And I bought 2 of them too. Modernize: I used this apk for the 1st time latest weekend and it was good to shoot them off with the apk versus handlight. However, the range was not very awesome. 20' is probably correct. So I still had to stand beautiful close to the fireworks which goes versus what I was trying to accomplish by buying this. The awesome - the lighters worked good. The awful: Range is not what they claim, The apk lost contact with the modules just before I started too.

  Zackery Evans: this is my third year using the firefly, and I like it enough to go through the nightmare that comes up each year. this year I am punished for my wife an I having an S9 and a Note9, because the apk doesn't work (specifically, wont search the device). an old smartphone is TOO old for the apk, and luckily an old smartphone finally loads the apk AND finds the device.....sigh

  Jordan Winton: After purchasing 2 systems thinking I should replace my existing RF firing system and having high hopes, I was wrong to say the least. After downloading the apk i noticed it was veey lagging on the s7 galaxy. Updated it and still no better. Well versus awesome judgement i tool my fireworks to the melody with precision for 3+ hours and wake up the next morning to search it gone on 7-1-17. I have screenshots proving i saved them. Idk if it was an apk modernize or what but that is COMPLETLY unexeptable. So i re-program my present on old system and save with no error. So comes the night of firework present i have my old system controlling the present and the FireFly controlling the finale. All of the present fires excellent on old system but FireFly didn't fail to disappoint. It fired 1 out of 15 shots. I had 4 bars on bluetooth status and good wireless connection and was connected within distance of 45ft. Also the apk is completely un-refined in every category and it freezes none stop. Not only on my s7 Galaxy but on smartphone and on a S6 Galaxy. Overall upon buying this product i thought ut would be decent for the cash, but rethinking it i beleive it was a total wast. If the product gets better and the apk i might reconsider the system but as of now I hope this helps potential buyers create a awesome decision. Also it would be very beneficial to be able to add multible systems (modules) and senq them together. This review is not meant to bash the company but to allow the company and buyers know that this imo is a very undeveloped product. Best of Luck, Jordan

  PyroLoo: You have to set it up to melody just for it to auto ignite. The clips are too little for most fuses, they fall right out. The aftermarket fuses work though.

  Larry Ellison: Would disconnect from 10 feet away. I used hotspot to test to assist but no luck. Wasted 45 mins of trying to receive it to work while using another devices. I had to manually light the fireworks myself and test to hold up with the melody to go along with firework present. I missed shooting 3 because of this. I shot them off at a later date at home with while connected to wireless connection with full bars and connect to bluetook and it would disconnect within 10feet once more. Waste of cash, a lot of cash. I wanted to watch present with my family besides had to run from lighting and going right back. Look forward for the 4th because i have family come in all over. I have never been this dissappointed that I felt like I need to leave a review. Do Not Buy!!!! Read the reviews. More awful than Awesome. If fireworks supermarket doesnt refund my cash, I will no longer go back. Firefly was a dud!!!!! Thanks and have a good day.

  Gary Allen: Just like previous reviews this apk does not work on Samsung galaxy S8. It never finds the unit to sync. The design of the apk is ok, it just doesn't work! Tried it on an old iPhone and it was ok, strange it works with a dusty iPhone but not an S8. The product itself still needs work too. I set everything up to try and one of the cables broke JUST FROM THE TEST, also range is not awesome, maybe 20ft or so. This probably speaks more to the company overall, half ass apk+ half ass product= buyer beware. Very disappointed

  Seth D. Meyers: Apk review: Slightly buggy. Takes a while to recognize the device and will sometimes drop connectivity even well within range. Stutters and freezes even on higher end devices. I purchased this system in May, and there was no indication that it was not compatible with modern versions of Android device. After my purchase I contacted their help, and a message was quickly placed on their site stating that it was incompatible. The only method I should create it slightly functional was to downgrade my smartphone to 7.x and even then it did not perform well at all. Hardware: The igniter cables don't even come CLOSE to their advertised lifespan. I was lucky to receive more than one ignition out of each cable. That's insanely expensive compared to a Talon connector for instance. They also come detached from fuses very easily. Overall, beautiful disappointed especially considering the $200 price mark for all of this. For $50, I would have maybe place up with it. But at $200, I shot my 2018 present on this system and will not be using it once more.

  Chris Byers: I'm an Android device apk developer with a BS in electrical engineering, and my apk was up to date and my fuses were properly clamped. The apk crashed 4 times while I was doing a present. I would walk within distance to fire an output, then run back a methods, and it hung up after 3 fires consistently, to the point I had to reset my smartphone (galaxy s8+). Killing the apk and restarting, it was just a white screen, and my smartphone would not even answer at all. The device itself failed 10 out of 14 triggers as well, had to light manually. This is definitely not a awesome product, as I had high hopes it would be.

  George Araiza: Not only did it not connect to my smartphone anympre but even when I found a smartphone that will none of the coils would turn on any fuse whatsoever I thought the batteries might be dying so I bought fresh batteries and nothing couldnt even turn on smoke ball! And all the coil wires are fresh aswell as the batteries I'm very disappointed I had to hand light my 4th of July present any assist would be appreciated thanks
