  A Google user: My email complaint to Tim was immediately answered and the updated ver was offered. After updating the tool works ok. The graphics are nice and clean and it is a joy to be able to work on the go issues during any spare time. Very handy. Haven't tried to download another issues yet. The sets it came with are keeping me busy enough.

  Steve Miller: On Android device 6.0.1 w/Samsung Galaxy there is no longer a menu soft key and attempting to keep down the back key (which is now supposed to be how to invoke the menu) results in GoGrinder immediately exiting. I love this apk and would like to be able to see this fixed. Modernize: The workaround is not good, but it works. If you enable Settings -> Private -> Accessibility -> Dexterity and interaction -> Assistant menu it will force an annoying overlay soft menu that works when holding down back in the apk to receive to the menu. Maybe this has something to do with not honoring the press and keep delay on the hardware keys? Edit: Thanks for the added features in the recent! It's good to be able to see the nav dots now!

  Jonathan DiLallo: Good apk. No frills, solid go apk that you can add your own trouble sets to. Position and color randomizer can be disabled for mixed results. Sometimes it will switch colors on the trouble but not the comments. My largest complaint is unable to view thumbnails of collections to skip to a certain trouble or solve with reading only. Good resource for grinding out go issues though.

  A Google user: I had a trouble with the initial install, where GG couldn't write to my sdcard. The author fixed this in 1.2.1 shortly after my email. Now works like a charm. I've been using this for years on the PC, it is good that there is now an Android device ver. Serious users study using GG - it is an perfect study aid. @wzhliang you can place more issues on your sdcard using a usb cable and your PC - there are dozens of trouble sets out there...

  Paul Carver: The trouble collection I've tried is just right for my level (7k) and there's a awesome number of them. But best of all, the interface is exactly right, easy and straightforward. Apparently it's simple to add more issues, but I've not tried that yet.

  Mike Frolik: Just one thing, though. I noticed in the primary collection, there was a trouble I found confusing. In prob121.sgf, after Black plays 1. b3, White plays 2. c3, and I fail the trouble. But then it seems to me that Black can answer with 3. c4, placing the white stones at c3 in inescapable atari. The three remaining white stones are also screwed. How is that not a victory for Black?

  Alistair Laurence: I can test the issues sequentially or randomly, and when I stop it's waiting for me to continue there. I also like the method the colors and places are switched advertisement random. I would like a tweek: when I'm trying to search the solution and I'm say black, after I place a stone the system adds the next white stone. Would it be possible to change this so that I have to place the white stone also at the right put and so on? This would create me think about the best moves for black and white! :)

  William Du.: Randomization of color and orientation is a must for me. I also like how it hold tracks on average score (%) for each trouble collection. Now what would imo raise this apk to the rank of complete awesomeness would be: a. The ability to make brand fresh issues directly from the apk (note that currently you can import issues by copying them manually inside the appropriate folder). b. Some type of SRS (Spaced Repetition System) mode. Thanks to the author for a good apk

  TanukiTensai: Perfect but stuck in a set once started. Back button only exits tool on my Samsung Galaxy tab e and also can't access settings. No landscape either... closing the tool and then restarting just opens into the latest set I was doing lol. To access other set I need to actually delete the trouble off my sdcard. Unacceptable...works ok on my smartphone though

  A Google user: TBH, I was expecting more from this as a paid apk but it's exactly the same as the PC ver. A few recommendations: - add more issues, or add method of downloading more issues after installation - improve player experience with PAD. On my nook color only 1/3 of the screen is used. - improve UI/sound. It just doesn't feel like a tool written for touch screen devices.

  Jim Grange: I can't assist but feel I have been ripped off here. Like other player, the back button doesn't work. Using the Samsung Galaxy revert button exits the tool. How do I receive back to the menu? Seems good if only I can access the menu easily. Otherwise it is less than useless. EDIT: The developer responded to this comment, but the response did not address the trouble. I am already within a trouble set, and there is no "menu" button at all. I am stuck in a trouble set and cannot go back to choose other one. It's useless.
