andre correia: Good control, with a lot of features continually being added. Lots of people complaining about temperature setting but they dont realize it has to do with what the model supports. Lots of lag relates to the internet service. Customer help always calls back. If they dont, call them and reference the case number! Honeywell apk doesnt even come close to this feature rich apk.

schneur kamensky: Not sure what all the fuss is about. Apk works good for me. So satisfied to be able to control the thermostat and timers remotely! Apk is responsive, easy to connect and easy to use! My installer installed the PAC-USWHS002-WF-1 (newest wireless connection connector) to model MSZ-GL24NA-U1 Wall Mounted Indoor Unit

Brenan Massie: Good device and very player friendly. Being able to change multiple heads to heating or cooling at one time, instead of going to each unit separately. You can also control your devices from anywhere that you have Wi-Fi. Also any updates that need to be created can easily be done over the apk instead of having to receive the fresh, current thermostat

Charles Miltiades: Best mini split apk I have seen! Love the scheduling feature and the filter reminder. So convenient!

Rick Jungerberg: Good apk

Tayson Rockefeller: Feel like I required to give this apk some love. Lots of awful reviews, none of which I have experienced. I receive a notification to change my living room filter which is very persistent, but whatever. Works ok, does what it's supposed to do.

Nathan Caban: Works reliably but takes longer to connect than my another smart apks (A/V, lights, garage, etc). Oddly the unit remote grants access to more features than this apk. Would like to see widgets able save common-use to my phones home screen.

Rob Waldhauser: Looks much cleaner than previous versions. Recent modernize seems to have fixed the programming problems. Would love Smarththings integration for my smart home, ITTT just isn't enough.

Diana H: Decent apk, but should be better. It's not the easiest apk to navigate. The UI should be improved, specifically the navigation from one place to other. Also, there's no "away" setting. The apk and the troops are connected to my wireless connection when I'm home, so it could know when I'm away. It would be good if I should have an "away" tool. Otherwise, I'm heating/cooling my house when I'm not there.

Charles Rushing: Just got the system installed on Friday 4/7/17 the installation squad ..yes squad because they both were trying to receive the dang thing to link with my WiFi..we called Mitsubishi who gave us some help..but after 2hours of overtime that the installers were on I gave up and sent them home..they're due to return next week to test once more. I'm also trying to do it on my own..so far one out of three zones where found and linked and I was able to name it...I'll repost if the another two are successful...If not Mitsubishi look forward to a call..find other apk. HERE'S MY UPDATE.... as of 04/11/17..the apk finally found the zones and linked up. I was able to name each of the zones I am now happy.

Serge Savard: This works well. Would like to be able to change the temperature directly in the home screen without clicking on the place, but not a deal assassin.

Chris P: Awesome for scheduling and Alexa integration. I like that I can read the temperature from each room. I had a furnace and Ecobee before and this is very close in comparison! Lacks vacation mode but compensates by having the ability to disable the schedule. As everyone else is saying, it lacks some of the features on the remote: iSee sensor config, horizontal vane position, quiet and sleep modes for example. The apk could present current temperatures instead of set-point on the main screen (or both).

Jeff Wallace: The Nov 16 modernize has been working reliably for me and seems to be a minor improvement over previous versions. The November 14th modernize was essentially broken, not even a 1 star but the current ver is OK.

Joe Lemmons: No one contacted when I emailed, but at least it works now.

Alexandre Bellerive: Fresh modernize seems to have addressed a lot of of the issues, however there is still missing a lot of the remote commands for my MSZ-FH18NA2 heat pump, like independent left vane and right vane control, horizontal swing control, natural flow, etc. This is beautiful disappointing considering the cost of the Wi-Fi module. I excepted more from the likes of Mitsubishi. There's also no method to turn the blinking lights off on the WiFi module. The blue light is incredibly bright and annoying in the middle of the night in the bedroom.

A Google user: Needs current temp display on main screen.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2017-07-22
Robert Morrison: Kumo Cloud needs work. It's not as robust as Honeywell Thermostat, and is slower. The minimum heating setpoint is 50 deg. F; it could be lower for the cases that the unit is heating an unoccupied place, such as a garage, to avoid freezing. it is cheaper than the Redlink option, however.

Jacob Hanson: The apk is a good idea and is a very modern method to control the system. The screenshots need to be updated to reflect its current look and feel. Also, it is extremely clunky and frequently takes me to strange menus when hitting the we turn to previous menu button. I trust the developers need to test out some another apks to receive some ideas of how to improve their own and create it more player friendly. I feel like the tool layout should be majorly improved. It is hard to receive a solid under standing of what the week looks like. Please continue to improve the apk. Thank you.

Tina Soo Hoo: The programming is awful. The "tool on" and "tool off" buttons are not working. It reads off all the time but is on and cannot turn off. Please fix ASAP.

Nate A: With the modernize, off mode / fanatic only gives the temp!...Still missing a lot of features from the remote that came with unit. Needs to mirror the remote that came with the unit. Would love it if it had a strong button feature like remote that came with unit

jonathan prange: Seems fine so far, when it is able to connect unclear why I have connection problems as the wireless connection signal strength is very powerful in the places I have these devices.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2018-10-06
dino Snake: Programming still doesn't work correctly! Only displays latest tool entered, not all tools input. Therefore if you have more than one interior head unit and make a tool for each, you can't go back and change the tools because the apk refuses to present them to you. Would like a display of current activity is unit, not just its setting. This may not be possible, but showing us when the unit is actually actively heating or cooling would be nice.

A Google user: I installed 3 modules over the weekend without much problem, but did message a places that should be enhanced: 1) sort programmed happenings by time for each day 2) view programmed happenings by place 3) displayed a monthly usage report by place and whole system 4) in installer setup, display MAC and Bluetooth address for each connected place 5) set place name as WiFi device name 6) web interface that isn't just the apk display in a browser 7) Smart Home integration (SmartThings, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT, Apple HomeKit)

Decision-Maker: I'm with Nate, Temp reading is gone. And needs to mirror the remote that comes with unit. Still slow to connect to remote module but works. I know a lot of it is data speed.

Andy Hall: I'll begin by saying that this apk works at the primary level. But it looks and functions like it was written by an intern working with a gingerbread era try device. The apk is missing functionally you'd expect from another smart thermostat apks, can be slow, and the UI often doesn't modernize with the true status of a unit if it was changed from other source, like a remote. But it can do primary things, and can set a schedule, so it's ok I guess.

Nicholas Torkos: Editing my review to reflect the current modernize. They added back the ability to see current temperature while the unit is off. A crucial feature that I don't understand why it was removed but it's now back so I'm adding a star. Still missing some features like the ability to see a system overview in the main screen, aka why do I need to click every place to see its set Temps or even if its on or not. Need that back. Also controls between screens are inconsistent. Backbutton works sometimes but not others?

Anton Potter: Apk is super slow doesn't work half the time. Still am satisfied i can turn my unit on remotely. Really looking forward for Kumo to improve.

A Google user: The heat pump is good. This apk and corresponding site access are so buggy and unreliable as to be unusable. Not fine for a $150~200 option.

Jack Templin: 2 stars for existing.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2017-05-18
Manuel Avellan: Mediocre at best, it wars with the hand held unit, and out of the 3 troops I have 1 has already failed, in less than 3 months!

Philippe Dukes: There needs to be integration with Google home or Alexa more people are going the method of home automation.. For the price of mitsubishi they could be ahead of the mini game not behind
User rated this game 2/5 on 2018-02-07
Andy McMaster: Still buggy a few years in. A awesome example of the bugs is the inability when adding a tool to set something at 64 degrees. On the setting screen when you click down from 65 it skips to 63 and if at 63 and hit up it goes to 65. When you are at 67 and press down when creating a tool it looks like it skips to 65 but once you go back to screen where it shows tools, it is actually at 66. Very frustrating to not be able to set a certain temperature.

Jeff G: A good idea but very horrible implementation. Takes method too long to receive info back. The apk needs to be method more clear as to server set-point, apk set-point and the actual unit's set-point. The apk "caches" screen views which is just awful. However, since it is the ONLY option for Mitsubishi then there is no choice! Also, I think the apk submits one degree setting at a time to the unit and waits for a central server response before sending the next one degree change. Just create a button for "Submit" or "Send" instead of each one degree increment is sent and a response to the server is awaited. As good as their mini-split troops are...this apk is just clunky and horrible.

Carrie Langenbach: I should list all of the issues, but it's all been said before. Literally works 5% of the time if that
User rated this game 2/5 on 2018-09-15
Brian Murray: Very glitchy apk.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2017-10-13
Dominic Duke: Fresh problem has emerged. Anytime I test to change the temp via Google Home, Kumo just shows '--'. Connection between Google Home & Kumo is broken - only method to fix is to bypass GH entirely and use the Kumo apk. Response times of apk continue to be awful compared to Nest and another systems (maybe 5 seconds over Wireless connection. someones 20 secs over 4G). Need to fix GH problem.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2019-11-18
Corey Butler: Kumo cloud is the bare minimum for what you would expect for a 300 dollar dongle for your expensive heat pump. Changes in the apk aren't reflected on the physical remote, changes via Google Home aren't reflected on either as well. Makes it a true headache going between interfaces, particularly with multiple family members.

A Google user: This is barely a viable application and barely functional. Clearly, Mitsubishi makes a much better mini-split than they do an apk. I appreciate being able to set stuff for the mini-split over the internet but this apk just sucks. Mitsubishi, change this apk to present the setting on the apk, the setting as received (and at what time) on the device (mini-split), and the actual reported values on the device (and at what time). something like the following: Set Point on your smartphone or smartphone is 71 degrees. Set Point on your mini-split is 75 degrees as latest reported January 9th, 2018 at 3:47 pm. Your mini-split reports the room is at 73 degrees as of January 9th, 2018 at 3:42 pm. And receive the dang server to agree what I send it! OMG, this apk is archaic, at best
User rated this game 1/5 on 2018-09-19
William Hart: A slow buggy apk. Recent modernize is even worse. Will not reliably communicate with the zones. Ironically, the web apk seems more reliable. The apk isn't designed for Android device. The UI doen't follow a lot of of the normal Android device conventions. There is no mechanism accessible for reporting bugs another than calling their help line. Although they will give you a case number, they don't follow up. For the cost of a whole house Mitsubishi system, this apk is very unsatisfactory. It ruins what otherwise should be an perfect system.
