Lift Up Your Hearts Hymnal is the Android device edition of the hymnal Lift Up Your Hearts: Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs (© Faith Alive Christian Resources, 2013), with razor-sharp melody, strong find capabilities, and info about songs and their authors. This gratis apk contains more than 220 public domain songs in Lift Up Your Hearts: Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs, including favorites such as “Good Grace,” “To God Be the Glory,” and “My Jesus, I Love Thee.” Through an in-app purchase, you can access to the Pew edition which contains all public domain and copyrighted hymns (all 965 titles in the printed edition). For each song there is info that may contain a description of the song, a brief biography of the author or composer, and info for worship leaders such as performance recommendations and accessible arrangements. Brief audio clips are also accessible for most songs. The find box allows you to find for songs by first line, author, composer, subject, tune, meter or scripture passages quoted or alluded to. A handy keypad lets you jump immediately to a song by number. You can also place together a customizable setlist which lets you flip to specific hymns directly according to the service order. The FlexScores edition adds our revolutionary FlexScores for most of the hymns. These contain really big print, lead sheet, projection, and instrumental versions. Players are able to adjust the melody and text size of the scores and transpose them. The versions offered for FlexScores contain accompaniment, pew, lead sheet, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, alto or tenor saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, and tuba. For the instrumental versions, the melody is transposed into an appropriate range and displayed in an appropriate clef for the instrument.
