About the application:

The Vilnius International Festival of Lights, that covers the central part of the town, and has gained the recognition of countless visitors, will invite guests and residents of the capital of Lithuania to celebrate the birthday of Vilnius town for the second time on the 24-26th of January 2020. On the latest weekend of January, lighting installations, light objects, projection and mapping projects made by Lithuanian and foreign artists will be installed in the courtyards of Vilnius town. The theme of the festival - the courtyards of Vilnius. All these objects are arranged sequentially along the festival route in various parts of the town. We wish to make a mobile apk, so that the festival visitors can visit all the objects in sequence and not miss any of them. On the apk, visitors of the festival will be able to search all objects and all info about them - visiting hours, description of the object and its address. The apk will also provide access to key festival news and festival partners. The festival’s visitors will be able to tag their favorite objects with the “like” button. The apk is designed for convenient visitor navigation of the happening place and necessary announcements. This festival, when organized in January 2019, showed that such an happening is important and interesting for the citizens. Over 130,000 people, Vilnius’ residents and guests, visited the festival during the three evenings.
