  Samuel Walters-Nevet: Good first step, but some crucial features missing First off: I love what the ACLU is trying to do here; accountability is key for any gratis society and abuse of power has become too common. However, while video backups are a good method to show the destruction of evidence, they *really* could be done via a live stream. By waiting until the witness actively selects "Stop Recording" to upload the video, you leave begin the ability for any malicious acter to grab the smartphone and destroy it before it ever has a possibility to upload the video.

  John Doe: Awesome, but I'd change a few things. I would add an option to use the front camera for traffic stops where it can be difficult to tell what's in the shot, and an option to remove the constant notification that "witness mode is on." I know, I don't need the notification anymore. Perfect apk in another respects, though. This is a valuable program for police accountability.
