About the application:

The MyNavy Portal–MyRecord Mobile uses safe Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials for log-in instead of a Common Access Card (CAC) to deliver mobile human resources (HR), personnel, pay, and training services to Sailors. This initial release has limited functionality specifically linked to part of a Sailor’s personnel and training info from their Electronic Training Jacket (ETJ) in a read-only mode. Sailors could check their data on MyRecord Mobile for accuracy and contact MyNavy Career Center Contact Center for updates. Reviewing a record on the MyRecord Mobile Apk does not replace a Sailor’s responsibility to conduct a full record review for boards. Sailors could still conduct a full record review as they do today to ensure accuracy of their entire record. Sailors with a mobile smartphone or smartphone that is secured using a PIN, pattern, password or fingerprint could follow the steps below to gain access to the MyRecord Mobile Apk. 1. Log into MyNavy Portal (MNP) at https://my.navy.mil on a CAC enabled machine. a. At the top of the page, you could see your name. Click your name and choose CAC Gratis setup. b. Follow the steps for your device to authenticate your identity under the instructions tab. Note: This is a one-time happening to establish a safe Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) acc to log into the apk. 2. Download the Okta Verify mobile apk. This apk allows us to operate in a safe environment without a CAC. 3. Download the MyNavy Portal–MyRecord Apk. a. Begin the apk and enter your email address as it appeared in Step 1 as the Player ID. b. Enter the password made on the MNP webpage in the previous step. c. Press Sign In. Note: The Okta Verify apk must be running when using the MyRecord Apk. d. A notification will pop up asking to verify the player from the Okta Verify apk and the player must approve it to continue. Once this is complete, you can now use the MyRecord App. A video explaining these easy steps may be viewed at www.facebook.com/NAVYSeaWarrior. We request Sailors provide feedback to assist shape future capabilities and design of the MNP-MR apk. Sailors can send their comments to the MyNavy Career Center (MNCC) Contact Center by choosing the email in the apk ([email protected]); or by smartphone (1-833-330-6622). More info regarding the use of MNP-MR apk and how to set up Okta Verify for MFA are posted on MyNavy Portal and the Navy Personnel Command Career Toolbox page.
