About the application:

NorCamp is a comprehensive camping tutorial for Scandinavia (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden ... since 2021 also Germany), covering both well known places as well as smaller, hidden away websites. It's an one-man project and all data is collected and maintained in cooperation with campsite owners and NorCamp users. You can find for or present all campsites near your place on a map (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap or offline map) and receive detailed info about them such as address, email, site, smartphone number, images, reviews, price range and number of cabins and rooms. You can also submit reviews for a campsite, rate it, or upload images. The project lives from the help of its users. The following list shows which permissions are needed by the apk and the functions for these. Internet: Synchronizing primary campsite data, downloading images and reviews, working with the map Media/Files: Caching of campsite pictures and map elements Location: Working with the map, calculating distance to a campsite Call: Calling a campsite within the apk directly Contacts: Adding campsites as a contact to address book Invoice Service: In-app purchases (e.g. for advertising deactivation) The following external services are used within the app: AdMob (Google Inc.)
