OBD M8 (OBD Mate) Obd Friend is universal vehicle dashboard application with a number of cool features. Works with almost all ELM327 adapters, supports all Teyes OBD2 adapters (both versions, including ver 2 - long adapter)!!! Important - You need ELM327 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or USB adapter to connect to a car. - You could use ELM327 v1.5 adapters, because ELM327 v2.1 adapters often do NOT work correctly. This application is able to receive info from CAN bus without using an OBD-II adapter (in case you have T'eyes head unit with CAN bus box installed). CAN bus help added for the following cars: - Infiniti FX35/FX45 (2003-2008) If you have installed T'eyes head unit (SPRO, TPRO, CCx) along with T'eyes CAN bus box, contact me, and I'll add your car help to the application. Quick begin tutorial - Download the apk - Plug in ELM327 adapter into 16-pin diagnostic connector of your car - Switch ignition ON (or begin the car) - Explore your Bluetooth ELM adapter in your Android device device settings, or directly in application settings - Choose discovered ELM327 adapter in the apk settings - Connect App could connect automatically, or you can force reconnection by pressing connection button on the right top corner on the main screen. Dashboard This apk is designed to be a virtual vehicle dashboard. It shows the following data: - Speed (you can select to present speed from GPS, or from OBD data in apk settings) - Engine RPM - Engine load - Coolant temperature - Air intake temperature - Throttle position - Vehicle battery voltage - Fuel consumption (instant, or average - you can select it in apk settings) CAN info shown for supported cars: - Speed - Engine RPM - Coolant temperature - Distance to empty - Tire pressure Diagnostics You can read and restart problem codes from OBD-II compliant control troops.
