About the application:

Peak Searcher is an application that will assist you search peaks, and log your ascents. Peak Searcher offers some very intuitive interaction, you can add your ascents or treks manually or allow the apk retrieve data from your GPX file of your activity. Peak Searcher runs a background place monitor(can be turned off) that automatically updates offline peaks region so you can have your offline map ready at any time. Background monitor also checks for summited peaks, the regular modernize interval is 30min but when you approach a peak place it reduces to around 10min so you receive your summits even if you are not recording an activity. Peak Searcher offers a feature called Eagle Eye that(in case turned on) sends modernize of your place when you are in the mountains. Your Eagle Eye place is updated when it lies within defined zones (privacy safety measure ). If no zones are defined your place is not updated. Alternatively you can modernize your place manually within the Eagle Eye activity. If the background summit monitor is turned off Eagle Eye receives no place updates. In the Eagle Eye activity you will be able to see where in the mountains your mates currently hike or were hiking. Currently not implemented features: LIKES, COMMENTS, TRAILS
