About the application:

The Planet Library apk transforms the Library into a fun and engaging digital place for kids. It encourages kids who love devices, mini games and digital content to combine these activities into a fresh digital library experience. When they visit the Library, they can use Augmented Reality in the apk to collect heroes that are made in the library stacks. Each hero animates and has its own special story! Fresh heroes are released regularly onto the Bluetooth beacons placed around the library. Library visits are also rewarded with virtual coins that enable kids to play mini games that are included in the apk. When they run out of coins, they need to return to the Library to collect more! Children can compete versus their mates, anyone else using their Library, or another users in the Library universe. This introduces tournament to the apk and this is enhanced by achievements that are unlocked as they continue to use the app. In addition to the fun rewards, the apk also helps kids use the Library. They can find the library catalog for fresh ebooks to read, put holds and renew checkouts. It becomes their library card so they don’t need to remember their physical library card. It will also let them to scan barcodes of ebooks in a shop to see if they can borrow them for gratis at their local library. Children can find for Library happenings. They can add ebooks to their want list, write reviews of ebooks they’ve read and make their own private profile and a fun avatar using block style art. The Library’s eResources are accessible in the apk. Kids can explore them and access them through the apk, including eBooks and eAudiobooks. The apk is designed for kids from age 4 – 11 currently.
