About the application:

Plastira Lake topoguide is a digital field tutorial for hikers and nature lovers. It contains routes, descriptions and images for 15 hiking trails around Plastira Lake and the Eastern Agrafa mountain range, Thessaly, Greece. Plastira Lake place is one of the most genuine mountain landscapes of continental Greece. Eastern Agrafa mountain range is one of the less explored regions of Greece. "Agrafa" means "unwritten, as this are was so secluded and remote, that the authorities of all periods did not included it in the official taxes lists. The application offers detailed offline maps and an extensive introduction on geography, the history and the paths of Plastira Lake place and the Eastern Agrafa mountain range, including a really big chapter on the rich nature of the area. The apk offers also a useful list of POIs with a comprehensive find engine. The trails list contains moderate hiking trails, as well as difficult mountaineering crossings. In the field, the apk identifies the nearest journey, tutorials you to it and then along it by displaying messages and warnings on every junction or another necessary place. On each Point of Interest, images and texts are displayed on the map. If the hiker gets off-trail, the apk indicates the shorter method to receive back safely. The cartographic company AnaDigit, creator of the application, has issued previously hundreds of detailed hiking maps for Greece (eg. maps of Menalon Trail, Mt Taygetos, Mt Olympus, Crete, Zagori, Sifnos, Naxos and another Aegean islands). To build the application and ensure data accuracy, all paths of Plastira Lake and the Eastern Agrafa places have been revised during Fall 2019.
