About the application:

The Pennsylvania Melody Educators Association (PMEA) is a statewide nonprofit organization of over 4,000 members, dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians. The show membership evolved from a little group of band directors dating from 1933. Today, the organization contains those engaged in melody instruction at all levels, from preschool through college and university, as well as those in the melody industry, merchandising and publishing. The organization promotes and supports quality melody education, learning and performance as well as promoting and supporting melody education in schools and communities. PMEA is affiliated with The National Association for Melody Education, NAfME. The mission of the Pennsylvania Melody Educators Association is to advance comprehensive and innovative melody education for all teachers and students through quality teaching, rigorous learning, and meaningful melody engagement.
