PortSIP Softphone is a SIP-based softphone for Android device that uses Wi-Fi or 4G/LTE connection to create and keep calls and Instant Messages. Interworking with PortSIP PBX, PortSIP Softphone help push notification, which allows it keep calls and messages even it was force terminated. By using Android's existing contact list, PortSIP Softphone facilitates simple and effective communication management with an intuitive interface which accommodates multiple calls. Call functionality contains the ability to switch between two calls, merge and split calls and perform attended and unattended transfers. It also supports video symposium without MCU support. PortSIP Softphone incorporates advanced safety settings which allows for safe call signaling and audio encryption. It supports up to 1080P video call with H.264 and VP8 codec, and supports HD audio call. Codecs offered contains: G.279, G.711a/u, Opus, AMR, AMR-WB, G.722.1, iLBC, GSM, SPEEX-WB. Shawn Sato-Veillon: It's the best I've tried, and trust me, I've tried MANY! Only trouble I have right now is that I've enabled logging (to search what exactly is being sent - it is working ok. it's for troubleshooting something else actually), but can't search the log file, or anyway to see what's being logged from within the apk. o.O What's the point of "logging" if we can't see it?

Mihir Patel: Works ok overall but phonebook integration is awful. It shows false contact names(probably pulling it from some another source) for incoming calls even when the number is stored in smartphone contact ebook and doesnt even present the contact number of the person calling.. no method to know who's calling before picking up the smartphone
