About the application:

ProSafPlant accesses a cloud database of over 2,500 process security questions / inspection stuff in 20 various process plant / equipment modules as listed below. Players can also shop their private inspection notes on their own device or submit them for inclusion in the global questions database to benefit all apk users. Examples of questions include: The Process Pumps module has 92 questions, e.g. "Are little bore connections on pump case welded, not threaded?", "Is pump base and grouting in awesome shape, anchor bolts secured, no loose shims, no “soft feet”? Jack bolts retracted?", "Is the filter fast opening cover provided with a leak-before-opening security design, or security warning device?", "Is pump on routine vibration monitoring PdM? Are specific measurement points shown?”. The Process Piping / Attachments module has 265 questions, e.g. "Is the check valve an SCE (security critical equipment) item, either due to a safeguard under the HazOp or IPL under LOPA / SIL Assessment? If so, is it identified as such and documented PM procedures and failure data acquisition tool in put?", "Is the control valve experiencing any abnormal flow-induced or equipment vibration, cycling or noise that should lead to wear and/or failure?", "Are there any dead legs, e.g. closed valves in long vertical drain or vent piping that should experience accelerated corrosion or freeze?” The Control Building and Work Station module has 131 questions, e.g. "Are lighting levels in the control room adequate (e.g. 300 lux at VDUs (video display troops) and 600 to 1000 lux for table reading)?", "Are CCTV cameras provided for critical process places, flares, etc. with pan, tilt, rotate and zoom?", "Is there an MOC / Alarm Bypass procedure for disabling DCS / BPCS, SIS or another critical security interlock functions?", "Are there an unacceptable number of nuisance alarms that stay in alarm for long periods (standing / stale) (e.g. weeks or months)?", "Are control building drains completely separated from (no inter-connections to) process or lab sewers?
