About the application:

Rebirth brings an good, dystopian narrative to learning about oceanic climate change. Users see through the eyes of someone living in 2161, a time where most of the earth is a wasteland, and see how their actions now affect people in the future. (The user = you) The main plot line is that your mate, who wanted to become an Olympic hover boarder, falls off her board while trying to teach you hover boarding tricks. You are devastated by this because the fall kills any possibility of her being able to reach her dreams. The evening after she is sent to the hospital, you are waiting for further results on how she is doing. A man dressed in a black suit with a green phoenix badge knocks at your door. You begin the door, and he asks you if you should go back and change the future, would you. You reply yes, and you are teleported back in time where you have to solve puzzle mini mini games to save your future. There are 3 educational mini mini games the player plays through. Mini Mini game 1 teaches the player how to recycle with a mini game where they have to sort through litter on the beach. Mini Mini game 2 teaches the user how certain sunscreen products affect coral with a mini game where they play as a piece of coral that is trying to collect awesome sunscreens while avoiding the awful ones. Mini Mini game 3 teaches the player about awful fishing practices. In Mini Mini game 3, the player has to pair up various diagrams of fishing practices by matching the squares. At the end of each mini mini game, the player sees a newspaper from the future that shows them how what they do today affects how people live in the future.
