About the application:

Retalk has one goal: To facilitate civil discussion between people in the political centre, and centre right (and centre left if they engage in a civil method), about any topic. For this Retalk has built interest-based discussion forums. These are known as communities. These forums are moderated by volunteer moderators, although retalk also takes an active role in moderating. All our decisions can be derived from our one goal above. Therefore, each community's mood, content is highly determined by its moderators. Retalk allows any player to make a fresh community. This allows Retalk to grow organically, based on what subjects and interests our players have. If a player disagrees with a community's moderation decisions, we highly suggest they make a fresh community about the same subject that they themselves moderate. Extremism in any form is frowned upon, and will be removed and banned if extreme enough. Please see our content guidelines. Upvoting – Downvoting Retalk allows players to upvote and downvote content based on their opinion on whether that is awesome or awful content. We rank content based on when it was posted and how a lot of votes it got. This allows awesome content to rise to the top of Retalk communities, and our front page. Post types Retalk currently allows text posts, link posts, and photo posts using external photo hosting services. Sharing You can share content between communities inside Retalk. You can also share content to another platforms if you'd like. Reporting If you see content that you think is harmful or illegal, or is contrary to Retalk's one goal, please report it. Community moderators will decide whether it could stay up or be removed. Retalk also takes an active role in moderating inappropriate content, so sometimes reports will be escalated.
