Secure Redbirds is the official security apk of Illinois State University. It is the only apk that integrates with ISU's security and safety systems. ISU Police worked to develop a special apk that provides students, faculty, staff and guests with added security on the Illinois State University campus. The apk will send you necessary security alerts and provide instant access to campus security resources. Safe Redbirds features include: - Emergency Contacts: Contact the correct services for the Illinois State University area in case of an emergency or a non-emergency concern  - Friend Walk: Send your place to a mate through email or SMS on your device. Once the mate accepts the Mate Walk request, the player picks their destination and their mate tracks their place in true time; they can hold an eye on them to create sure they create it safely to their destination. - Tip Reporting: Multiple ways to report a safety/security concern directly to ISU Police. - Virtual Secure Walk: Let ISU Police to monitor a user’s walk. If a player feels unsafe when walking on campus, they can request a Virtual WalkHome and a dispatcher on the another end will monitor their adventure until they reach their destination. - Safety Toolbox: Enhance your security with the set of programs provided in one convenient apk.       - Notification History: Search previous Push Notifications for this apk with the date and time.       - Share Map with your Place: Send your place to a mate by sending them a map of your position.       - I’m OK!: Send your place and a notice indicating that “You’re OK” to a recipient of your choosing. - Campus Map: Navigate around the ISU area. - Emergency Plans: Campus emergency documentation that can prepare you for disasters or emergencies. This can be accessed even when players aren’t connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data. - Safety Notifications: Keep instant notifications and instructions from ISU security when on-campus emergencies occur. - WorkAlone: Use the apk to "check in" with you periodically while working alone or during late hours.  If you don't answer, the apk will alert ISU Police.
