The San Antonio's Safest Driver Contest allows participants to challenge their mates, see how they rank in their community, and victory prizes every another week. The tournament is brought to you by the Town of San Antonio, Vision Zero, and USAA. The effort is part of San Antonio's Vision Zero plan to end traffic deaths and serious injuries on town roads. San Antonio's Safest Driver automatically detects when driving starts and stops, and uses your phone’s sensors to measure driving quality, including acceleration, braking, cornering, speeding, and smartphone distraction. The application logs your driving trips, displays mapped routes of your drives, and displays info on maneuvers giving you useful feedback to assist you become a better driver. In addition, it provides driving advices and allows you to invite mates to your leaderboard to compete for top rankings. The apk also tracks transit and bicycle trips. The tournament is for residents (who are at least 18 years of age or older) of San Antonio and the surrounding places included within the Alamo Place Metropolitan Planning Organization boundaries. To verify eligibility, you will need to enter your participating zip code on the registration page.
