  Phil Shotton: The route-planner for sailors! Brilliant apk, does in seconds what it used to take half an hour or more of plotting tides versus winds while routing around the shallows. I think this is an indispensible addition to the sailor's toolkit - even if you only use it to validate your paper plots.

  Ann Beardsley: I'm still fresh to sailing and unlike my husband I don't yet have a feel for the wind. By the time I figure out where to place the sails, all has changed. Savvy Navvy gives me a head begin so that I can sometimes receive that glow of "I did it!" Thank you, Savvy Navvy!

I have liked Savvy Navvy as a concept and working model since its very early days and it's quick evolved into my first choice when planning any passage as it now combines so a lot of essential elements in the one put. Really useful. Now having access via an apk makes it even better and easier to use.

  Neal Graneau: Given a day in advance and a steady chart table and no distractions, one can plot the tides, winds, obstacles and come to some estimates of best courses that seem to deviate from reality as every hour passes, OR you can use savvy navvy to do all the looking up and all the calculating at once for a whole passage. By all means, one can use all one's best yacht master skills to check the info, but surely savvy navvy is the best method to optimise the process for secure and timely passage making.
