About the application:

With this application it will be easier to search the Schoenstatt Shrines around the world. With integration into Google Maps, you will be able to easily arrive at whichever shrine, as well as save the list of shrines you've already visited. The Story: Norbert Jehle, from Germany, was on vacation in Portugal with his family and was looking for a shrine he found in the schoenstatt.de shrine database, created by Heinrich Brehm and based on the work of Pedro Lázaro from Iquique, Chile. When Norbert was supposedly arriving at the Portuguese shrine, he instead found himself in the middle of the town plaza. At this, he began a long project looking for precise places of each shrine around the world. Afterwards, Matías Fortuño, from Chile, helped complete the database which is now accessible on schoenstatt.org. The recent link in this chain of projects is schoenstatt.link which hopes to make a collaborative place where anyone can work to improve the database. This apk builds on this prior work and has the mission of sharing the joy of the Schoenstatt Movement to be a gift to the Church and the world. We thank each one of you who have been a part of this story, especially schoenstatt.org and schoenstatt.link which have permanently helped out. Greetings to all of the Schoenstatt pilgrims who want to live the experience of our Blessed Mother in the Shrine.
