About the application:

The Shield is a feature currently exclusive to Java Edition only. This add-on brings the Shield to Minecraft Bedrock Edition as well, but as a concept. It looks beautiful much the same but the main difference is that you won’t be able to use it as a shield as it actually replaces the Trident (which is a fresh item in Modernize Aquatic beta). Hopefully it will be updated to contain some fresh behaviors when equipped to create it more useful. As it is the Trident which is replaced by a shield you might need to enable Experimental Features for a globe in the globe settings in order to be able to search it in-game.
