Do you know any student who's happy with how campus parking works? You circle the lots aimlessly, hoping to catch someone leaving at random, or you stalk someone back to their spot. Or maybe you just admit conquer and park at that lot a mile from class. What if you just knew where the next gratis spot would be (and no one else did)? With Spot Swapper, while it can't make more places, students can use it to mitigate the chaotic rat race of parking by sharing the place of soon-to-be-free spots one-to-one in realtime. When you wish a spot, select your parking lot(s) and wait to be matched with someone who's about to leave a spot. You keep marker indicating which place will be yours and a description of the car to assist you search it. Just wait by the vehicle, poised to park as usual, and in moments your match arrives to vacate your spot! When you're leaving, tag your spot as you leave class (if you parked with the apk the marker is saved). Signal that you're leaving as you approach the lot and the student you're matched with will be waiting with gratitude! To incentivize playing both roles, points are needed to park, which are earned by successfully swapping your place to someone later.
