Sporty's Study Buddy will prepare you for the FAA written try like no another study program accessible, with three modes of operation - learning mode, simulated tests and flashcards. Learning Mode allows you to make custom review sessions by choosing exactly which categories you wish to review. Each session randomly generates the question order, and provides instant feedback based on your reply selection. Each question also provides a detailed description as to why each reply is right or wrong. These explanations were developed by Sporty’s squad of Master CFIs, based on their experience preparing students for the Instrument Rating. Flashcard mode tests your knowledge by allowing you to only see the question without the reply choices. After answering the question mentally, you can then choose to present the correct reply, and self-grade your progress along the method. This is a good feature that keeps you from being distracted by incorrect answers! Test mode randomly generates a 60-question session from the entire database of published FAA try questions, simulating the true Instrument Rating try. After answering all the questions, you’ll be given instant results, and have the option to review either all the questions, or just missed questions. Included in the review session are the same detailed explanations for why each reply is right or wrong.

A Google user: Very awesome learning program that needs to mature a tiny. Work better on my smartphone (Galaxy Tab 10.1) than my phone (Captivate). Most graphics are unusable on a phone.

Sam Creedy: Its a good apk. I wouldn't recommend using this as your only study tutorial but its good whenever you have time to slay. I do ask for you to add more question about icing and I would give it 5 stars! Honestly with the emphasis the FAA is putting on icing is could have its own category. I don't understand why the apk in my ipad has aircraft icing category but not on the android device apk.. please fix

Marco Quezada: The application often asks the same question more than once during the same Try Mode session. Please fix this. Motorola ATRIX 4G. Also, on my Nexus 7 the figures do not zoom in or out.
