  Jonah: It could not have taken me trying five apks to search one that supports manual place entry, has a widget, and is gratis. But this was it!! Only recommendation is to have a more robust settings (a la Samsung's Weather app's widget) that launches from the widget's context menu- as it is now, to change settings you have to create a fresh widget and remove the old one, and there aren't a lot of useful settings. It would also be nice to just present the town name without the province, as both don't fit in my case.

  abigael alexander: all I wish is a easy widget that updates itself and gives awesome uv rating details. sunny side was doing that perfectly until my smartphone reported the apk was crashing regularly and told me to place it into deep sleep. I uninstalled it, tried a bunch of others that were no awesome, and have redownloaded this one. I hope it won't begin crashing once more, it's the best widget by far

  Stephen Liu: I really like the UI and the fact that it doesn't have advertisements. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to be very accurate. Today it's cloudy, and most weather sources say the max UV index will be 4. But this apk says it'll reach 7. Edit: I'd be willing to pay a little subscription fee or see banner advertisements to help a fresh data source! Though I'm not sure how a lot of people would accept.

  Dave Cakebread: I REALLY do like the apk, does what it says, with no true whistles and bells, just the info in a really clear and simple to read format. My only question, and the reason for 4 stars, is the background colouring. The description on Google play, shows the range from 10 being red, to 1 being green, and 0 white. Mine shows a gradient of browns down to 3, and green at 2. I also cannot see a dark mode toggle to turn on/off to see if this is the cause.

  Marachime: it doesn't seem to use data that accurately represents the UV level of the put you choose. in my town today, it is very cloudy and has reached about 2 according to local weather measurements, but the apk insists we are at 4 right now. Not accurate. Perhaps only useful as a general "if the sky were clear it would perhaps be this" kind indicator. Am uninstalling and looking elsewhere.

  Ren Ren: the widget won't even modernize the index number. if it says 4, it stays as 4 all day until you click into it and only THEN does it modernize. there's no point of a widget if i have to continuously begin the apk to view the index.
