Tastebudz offers three special services that let for waiter-less ordering: Digital Menu, Waiter Mode and Menu Generator.Digital Menu: With the Tastebudz apk installed on smartphones having an NFC adapter, digital menus can be downloaded and orders can be sent to the waiter/waitress assigned to your table. Each item in the digital menu will have an photo, a description, a list of ingredients, a calorie amount and price. As you order, Tastebudz keeps track of the stuff as well as total price and calories. Waiter Mode: When a waiter registers his/her smartphone, they will keep orders associated with the group of tables they’ve been assigned. The orders will be recorded as usual and the meal brought out when it is ready.Menu Generator: Menus can be made from the user’s smartphone. Simply make an acc and begin generating a menu. When you’re done, put an encoded mark at each seat and people can start to use your menu. The advantage of Tastebudz is the NFC technology. With it, waiter-less ordering can be achieved without having to use expensive tablets at each table.
