About the application:

Tooth Character is the FIRST interactive toothbrush timer for children that can be played with every toothbrush and is FREE to download. Our mission is to engage and amuse kids to brush their teeth for two mins twice/day and assist kids learn why they could brush their teeth through our fun animations. Tooth Character is a mini game set in Molar the Magnificent’s Tooth Kingdom. The evil Jack the Plaque and his minions are ready to attack teeth in your mouth every day…unless you BRUSH them away. Molar has assist from his Tooth Star mates, Flora the Tooth Fairy, Wanda the Wisdom Tooth, and K-Nine the Dog. The four of them combat plaque by teaching kids about the importance of brushing, flossing, using mouthwash and white strips. The effect is that kids will understand how to take care of their dental hygiene and parents will have an easier time getting kids to brush. How Tooth Character Works: Tooth Character uses the front-facing camera on a phone to recognize children’s faces and their brushing strokes. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that people could brush for two mins in each brushing session and brush twice every day. Tooth Character instructs players to brush in each war station (or quadrant) for 30 seconds at a time. Tooth-dar will present the player where to brush, the Plaque Cam will present the plaque creature that the player will be defeating through augmented reality, and the Weapon Meter will charge up by defeating plaque creatures. In each scene, the player will face off versus Jack the Plaque and his minions: Cav and Ginger. Players can pick their favorite Tooth Star and go from being a Tooth Cadet to becoming a Tooth Character! Each time a player plays, the player earns experience and coins. Experience and coins can be redeemed for fresh animations, weapons, and filters to create Tooth Character more interactive. During the mini game, players begin with a Toothpaste Torpedo. As the player plays, he/she will unblock more weapons: • Floss Arrows & Floss Harpoon • Mouthwash Wave & Mouthwash Cyclone • Whitestrip Whip & Whitening Lightning • Golden Toothpaste Torpedoes & Toothpaste Cannon Bombs • Mystical Toothbrush Sword Tooth Character has filters to unblock in the mini game too. Our first filter is Lord Molar the Magnificent’s crown. We will have fresh filters in the next update! In Fall of 2018, Tooth Character will be running a series of fundraisers for Elementary School PTAs. The fundraiser is called a Brush-a-Thon, and schools will be participating in our pledge drives that will benefit the school and assist kids build healthy habits. Tooth Character has formed partnerships with health clinics, including the Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinic and after-school tools, including Star Education. We have run Brush-a-Thons in coordination with schools in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, and we will expand in the 2018-19 school year. With Tooth Character, you will search that your kid will not complain about brushing, and Tooth Character will let simple brushing to occur naturally. We are not just a toothbrush timer for two mins. Tooth Character cares about your child’s dental hygiene. With Tooth Character, your kid can use any children toothbrush for the mini game.
