This application reproduces on touchscreen devices the neuropsychological try called "Trail Making Try", introducing fresh experimental features. To do this, there are 2 modality of interaction with the screen: in the first, the sequence is chosen by simply touching the circles, on display will appear straight lines that connect the chosen circles, green or red depending on whether the selection has been created in the right sequence or not (to delete the red line, click on the black background). In the second, which is activated by choosing FINGER PAINT in settings menu, you can determine the sequence directly drawing the line joining the circles. Also in this mode, the line will be green or red depending on the accuracy of the sequence and will take the form of brushstroke (exactly like with pencil on paper). Moreover, introducing fresh experimental features to be inspected clinically, you can play sounds or vibration based on your selection (vibration not avaible for Motorola Xoom), and hold track of the circles properly chosen. The entire procedure consists of the sample with 8 disks followed by full trial, for both Part A (circles 1 to 25) and Part B (circles 1 to 13, with numbers and letters); at the end of the procedure, you can view the participant's name and timing of tests. Note: we have selected not to present screenshots of the full try for not giving a preview of the layout of the circles. Kitty Kitty: TMT measures cognitive processing time & allows linking two consecutive numbers with the fastest, most direct route, which would be a straight line. When I link 5-6-7-8 with straight lines, the lines cancelled out one other due to overlapping. Touching each number is not what the standardized TMT requires, so the normative data established will not be comparable. A lot of people who need cognitive tests are seniors. They will likely search black background and fluorescent numbers difficult to read.

Katelyn Koedyker: It's a good idea but the directions of the original standardized try require the client to connect the dots without lifting the pencil.

Nab Ted: I think the apk is awesome , It just needs to be improved. @Sophie Izzard, Can you please be more specific. I have tried the Apk and haven't encountered any issues with the numbers. I have actually enjoyed playing around it, but sorry can't give it 5 Star because it need to be improved. However, I totally accept with @Thomas Davies.
