About the application:

Tujifunze Android device application is a part of Tujifunze Learning Management System (LMS) developed by The University of Dodoma (UDOM), Tanzania (www.udom.ac.tz) under the sponsorship of SPIDER, Sweden. The project started in 2017. Since then, a few versions of Tujifunze LMS were developed, inspected and used in more than six schools in Tanzania. The current ver of LMS aims at supporting distance learning in Tanzania under the project titled Supporting Distance Learning in Tanzania through Inclusive Begin Access Multimedia Lessons (IOAMLs). The project is currently being implemented by UDOM under project manager Dr. Placidius M. Ndibalema. The current ver of LMS enables a registered student to access developed school-based lesson contents uploaded into the Tujifunze LMS database. All developed lesson contents follow the Tanzania Basic school curriculum. They are, therefore, age appropriate. Some of these lesson contents are shared through YouTube Tujifunze official channel. The students are registered by their parents or teachers. Students’ info is kept secret and is used for the purpose of accessing lesson contents only.
