  A Google user: So far, the WiFi File Browser Pro apk seems to work really well. I have been able to easily specify which folders are visible, set a password, and upload/download files to my Anddoid device without any issues. However, I trust that this application desperately needs to add SSL (HTTPS) capable connection ways to encrypt the content being transferred, and protect the excruciatingly primary "password" safety. As it works currently, the password is passed across the air in clear text. It could be possible to make a "player" and "password" to increase the safety posture slightly. However, this really doesn't matter unless the SSL/HTTPS portion isn't added. I will still use this apk, but with extreme caution in only networks I own and believe (i.e. my home network). Anywhere else is inviting disaster.
