XAir Monitor Mixer is a private monitor mixer for the Behringer X18, XR18, XR16, and XR12 mixers, and the Midas MR18 and MR12 mixers. It allows each musician on scene to select exactly what they hear in their monitor without affecting (or being able to affect, even by accident) the band's main mix. Usage: 1. Connect to the same WiFi network as the mixer. In most cases, this could be enough for the apk to search your mixer. However, if your sound engineer has changed the default address of the mixer, you'll have to enter that fresh address in the app's connection screen. 2. Select which monitor you wish to mix. If your sound engineer hasn't named these in a method that makes it obvious which is yours, ask him which is yours. 3. A Google User: This apk works...used it for a live gig with an xr16 & wired IEM's (with a Behringer P2). It allows you to change your private monitor mix on the fly. I tried it during a song & between songs/sets without major probs. Only glitch is the screen freezes occasionally but this maybe my smartphone. 5inch screen too little anyway really so I'm going to test side-loading the apk onto an 8inch Kindle. In summary; I've now got the best sounding monitor mix I've ever had... because for once I'm in control. Well done Eric! Modernize: been using the apk on an 8 inch kindle for months now, also upgraded the xair Wi-Fi with an external dual band router. Not had a single glitch. If I should have one improvement it would be to access easy bass/treble eq but it's not a deal breaker.

Tony Hammerling: I've been using this apk for our live performances for a few months now. Installed on my Galaxy S9+ and it works perfectly. The only problems we have as a band comes from the mixer/wifi dropping, but no problems from the apk. Just played a present using a stick PA and didn't have my IEM mix, and missed having this apk next to me controlling my monitor.
