Yatzy is a famous mini game of luck, skill and tactic based on the roll of the dice. Pick up your dice and prepare to scream “Yatzy”! It may seem that playing dice relies only on luck and a awesome roll. However, Yatzy requires a users logical thinking and a minimum level of mathematical ability. Mini game of Yatzy has a large element of luck, it is not only luck, there is also a lot of decision-making that goes on. Yatzy is also know as Yachty, Yazy and Yatzi. The objective of the mini game is to score points by rolling five dice to create certain combinations. The dice can be rolled up to three times in a turn to test to create different scoring combinations. A mini game consists of thirteen rounds. After each round the user chooses which scoring category is to be used for that round. Once a category has been used in the mini game, it cannot be used once more. The scoring categories have varying point values, some of which are fixed values and others where the score depends on the value of the dice. A Yatzy is five-of-a-kind and scores 50 points; the highest of any category. The champion is the user who scores the most points. The Yatzy scorecard includes 13 various category boxes and in each round, after the third roll, the user must select one of these categories. The mini game is completed after 13 rounds by each user, with each of the 13 boxes filled. The total score is calculated by summing all thirteen boxes, together with any bonuses. Special Yatzy rule is, the first time you receive a Yatzy in a mini game it is worth 50 points (if you use it in the Yatzy slot). If you roll other Yatzy after you have already got the 50 points (i.e., you didn’t take a zero), you will receive a 100 point bonus. The Yatzy scorecard includes 13 scoring boxes divided between two sections: 1) Upper section 2) Lower section Although it sounds somewhat complicated, it takes just a few mini games to receive to know all the combinations and begin to work out your winning tactic.
