Assessing Subitisation with Q&A is a self-contained assessment program that mirrors its corresponding Learn and Play apk. The apk is designed to collect digital assessment evidence as the kid independently demonstrates their knowledge and understanding of Subitisation ASSESSMENT TASKS Assessment tasks in the apk contain * Subitisation to 10 using Domino, Clustered and Natural 3 dots, Clustered shapes and 10 frames * Subitisation to 20 using Domino, Clustered and Natural 3 dots, Clustered shapes and 10 frames PLEASE NOTE - This Apk requires access to your TABLET'S MEMORY to STORE JPEG photos of completed assessment tasks. SUPPORTS 3 DIFFERENT ASSESSMENTS Assessing Subitisation with Q&A can be used for: 1. Pre-learning assessment of existing knowledge 2. Formative assessment during the learning process 3. Summative assessment at the end of the learning process. Assessing before, during and after any learning experience provides a clear indication of a child's existing knowledge, their developing understanding and the ultimate mastery of the relevant concepts. OTHER BENEFITS Other benefits of the Game2Learn Confirm and Display assessment apks include: OPEN NAVIGATION The begin structure enables kids to freely move around the apk and take control of their assessment. This reduces potential stress and reluctance to participate in the assessment process. SKILLS GAP IDENTIFICATION An extra benefit of Confirm and Display assessment apks is that incorrectly or uncompleted assessment tasks identify specific knowledge gaps. These photos contain the child's name and their responses to each assessment task. So they can be used as supporting assessment evidence for reporting purposes. Also, the photos can be printed and stored in a paper based student file or uploaded into a digital e-portfolio recording system. STRESS FREE ASSESSMENT Assessing Subitisation with Q&A also contains a number of 'just for fun' brain mini games that reward kids for completing each assessment task while breaking the continuous assessment cycle and its associated anxiety.
